Wash, the potatoes. Place them in a pot and add water and salt. Boil until well done, check with a knife.
Peel while still warm and mash them to make a puree.
Add the spices and the light olive oil, mix.
Gradually add about 100 grams of flour. Stop adding when the mixture turns into a dough that is not sticky.
Make 6 pieces out of this potato/flour dough.
Sprinkle some corn flour on your working place and make small cylinders out of each piece using your hands or a rolling pin. Do not make them too thin, about half a centimeter thickness will do.
Heat a skillet, add few drops of light olive oil and gently place the gozleme on the skillet. Cook each side until golden.
Repeat until all the material is finished.
Serve warm, with sides of choice; such as olives, cheese, honey, jam, cucumbers, with coffee or tea.
