This time here is a recipe from my dear husband. Whenever there is someone is coughing in the house he insists that everybody should eat black radish to keep aways the germs. Well the truth is black radish is not something you would call tasty, so in the end, nobody but himself used to eat it. With this salad, he has found the correct taste and we all like to have it not just for the sake of health but actually, it is a delicious salad.
You might think that it is no big deal about making a salad tasty but with this salad, it becomes important because the black radish has a particularly strong taste and if you do not add all the ingredients listed you might not get the correct taste. You need black radish, tomato, carrot, parsley, onion and 2-3 garlic cloves.
A good trick is to crush the garlic and marinate it with the dressing before adding to the main salad bowl. This way while you eat you will not even notice that there is garlic in this salad
Garlic and black radish are natural antioxidants, this is why he has named the salad as “immunity booster food”.

Healing Black Radish Salad
Ingredients
Salad
- 1 black radish
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 5-6 stalks parsley
Sauce
- 3 garlic cloves crushed
- 4 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
- 2 tablespoons vinegar apple or grape
- ½ teaspoon salt to taste
- ½ lemon’s juice
Instructions
- Grate the black radish and carrot.
- Slice the onion.
- Chop the tomato and parsley.
- Crush the garlic and mix it well the dressing ingredients.
- Put everything together in a serving bowl and mix.
- Chill, serve, enjoy and stay healthy.
