Light And Raw Coleslaw Salad

This is a very healthy salad. It is healthier than the standard version where you are supposed to add mayonnaise. This recipe replaces mayonnaise with plain yogurt. You will not even feel the difference as it is not too much, considering the amount of cabbage.

The main work is to slice the cabbage as thin as possible. Frankly it does not bother me to have the slices too thin or not so as you will notice mine have come out in various sizes. On the other hand if I had guests over then I would use a simple trick and make my slices using this kind of peeler:

When you are grating the carrot use the coarser side. Then mix well all the ingredients; and in no minute your salad is ready.

I add nigella seeds to this recipe, I never miss a chance to use nigella seeds, as they are so healthy.

Enjoy.
