Add the butter and the olive oil into a pot. Melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the orzo and the flour and mix until you can start smelling the flour.
Then add the grated tomato. If the tomato is not colorful enough you may replace or also add a tablespoon of tomato paste. If replacing add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste.
Mix all together and then add cold water.
Also add all the spices, to your taste.
Bring to boil and then let simmer until the orzo is cooked al dente
