Sharing is caring!

Jump to Recipe

Mihriban is a woman’s name meaning warm, friendly and sweet. Perhaps a woman named Mihriban created this cookie and now it carries her name.

30 % of the world’s fig production is from Turkey. The best dry figs come from the mountains,  where they get water only from rains.

This is a healthy recipe and very easy to make. Feel free to garnish with coconut flakes, melted chocolate, chopped walnuts or with roasted sesame seeds as described in the recipe.

These are prepared and ready very quickly, tastes like a crunchy Turkish lokum.
