A terrific Easy Nescafe Starch Cookies Recipe that is terribly easy and makes crispy, slightly bitter cookies! No refrigeration required, no mess! Just 15 minutes to bake.
These cookies are slightly bitter as they are made with Nescafe Gold Blend. You can change the brand as long as it is an instant coffee. If you have kids perhaps you might want to use 2 in 1 coffee that is a coffee and coffee cream mix.
Nescafe Starch Cookie Ingredients
Basic ingredients are required for this recipe. I have used cinnamon and lemon zest, these are optional ingredients and not shown in the picture.
Making Starch Cookies
All you need to do is mix all the ingredients except flour and baking powder and whisk until creamy. Then add the flour and the baking powder and knead to obtain a rather soft but not sticky dough.
Make little oval-shaped cookies and make a vertical dent in the middle with a thick toothpick.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180° Celsius (350° F) for about 15 minutes. Do not keep it in the oven for long or else it will turn into a hard cookie. It will still be delicious though.
Enjoy these cookies that have a coffee aroma with a cup of tea or coffee! If you like this recipe you might want to try my Starch Cookies next time.
