Pre-heat the oven to 200° Celsius (400° F).
Grease your baking dish with olive oil.
Place the feta block in the middle.
Toss the rinsed cherry tomatoes all around the tray.
Peel and cut garlic cloves vertically into half and add.
Drizzle the remaining olive oil on the feta cheese and the tomatoes.
Sprinkle the spices and herbs. Be caucious about the salt and consider the salt in the feta.
Place the tray in the middle rack and bake until cheese is soft and tomatoes are roasted. This will take about 30 minutes.
While baking the sauce cook the pasta in a boiling salty water until al-dente. Drain but reserve a half cup of the starchy water.
For the next 5 minutes move the tray to the top rack and use grilling mode.
Take the tray out of the oven and mix contents but do not mash completely. Mix with pasta. Use some of the reserved pasta water if necessary.
Garnish with fresh tyme or basil leaves. Enjoy and take pictures!
